I have - friends who have accounts at - - and - who get their checks on the - regardless of the date. I bank at TCF. My bank then assess Over draft fees to my account, as I have automatic payments that come out on the - I would like to know why this happens.... |

This card allows you to " load '' funds to the card online using your debit card. I have done this for years with my credit union debit card and not had an issue. I explained that I needed to close on a refinance the next day and would come to the bank to collect the payoff amount in writing. The bank told me that they could not accommodate this. I explained that I would lose my lock on the rate and no fee refi, but it did not matter. They could not help me and would not issue a letter designating the 10 day payoff amount, even if I went to the bank to get it. TCF allows you to set a " deliver by '' date, which is great, except it rarely actually happens. Historically, my rent check is often delivered -3 days AFTER the deliver by date. I time my payments to correspond with my payroll deposits, to make sure that I am timely with my payments. I have payments going out biweekly. I did not authorize the dealerships to talk to other vendors/banks to get a lower rate yet that was done. This was done on - occasions ( - dealerships ) and multiple banks from each. This severely effected the inquiry portion of my credit report and my score in general. This bank was purchased -/-/- by TCF Bank. For the last two weeks, I have been speaking with TCF Bank whom can not locate the account ; even though I have provided all the requested account numbers, social security information, and even pictures of the IRA Certificate ( attached ). TCF National Bank Bank account or service account opening, closing, or management April 24, 2015 - I got a receipt today at TCF Bank which was very, very deceptive.The available balance included my overdraft protection account, BUT NO WHERE ON THE RECEIPT DOES IT STATE THAT THIS BALANCE INCLUDES THAT ACCOUNT.It is so easy to see they are trying to rip people off, as they will mistakenly believe more money is available than they actually have, and will overspend and get charged fees and a high interest rate on money they think is theirs.Anyone who has already overspent because of this egregious deception should be reimbursed immediately!!!
