I got a receipt today at TCF Bank which was very, very deceptive.The available balance included my overdraft protection account, BUT NO WHERE ON THE RECEIPT DOES IT STATE THAT THIS BALANCE INCLUDES THAT ACCOUNT.It is so easy to see they are trying to rip people off, as they will mistakenly believe more money is available than they actually have, and will overspend and get charged fees and a high interest rate on money they think is theirs.Anyone who has already overspent because of this egregious deception should be reimbursed immediately!!! ( the - and - will surely be most victimized ) TCF Bank should be ashamed of their unlawful business practices and I hope a lawsuit is on the way.
