ProCollect, Inc Debt collection department,
I do not know Attempts to collect debt not owed Debt is not yours Ohio
I attempted to contact the regional supervisor over the property, - - - -, that is claiming the debt against me via fax and phone on multiple dates over the last two months. The first attempt came on -/-/-, after trying to contact the parent company - - on -/-/- and was directed to resolve the issue directly with the regional manager. I contacted the office again -/-/-, -/-/- and -/-/-. Every time I was told this individual would call me back and never did so. I sent over a fax the last week of - and received a confirmation that it was delivered successfully. I have also attempted on -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/- and again -/-/- through both phone and fax between these dates to provide documents which prove that a debt is not owed and none of these parties will consider the evidence that proves this, instead I have received forged documents that have copied my original signature and applied it to a document that I was never in possession of. I had a lease for a one bedroom apartment with a clean move-out checklist that showed now charges were due and no repairs needed made
with proof that the debt is owed, instead only sending billing statements which claim my balance is due within a day of receiving the billing statement. I have provided evidence and they have confirmed receipt but will not accept it as a zero balance and they refuse to provide any proof that I actually owe the debt following my faxed dispute. They are trying to collect a debt that they are not owed and I can provide the document to prove it, which I have provided them on numerous occasions. In addition to billing me incorrectly after claiming I owed nothing after a walk through of the unit followed by the signing of the move-out checklist with the zero balance, they failed to provide me a copy of the bill they chose to forge within the 30 days they had to do so as outlined by Ohio Statutes.
