FHA mortgage Trouble during payment process California
I believe there could be a potential error on the escrow account for my property tax. I received a notice from US Bank on -/-/- stating that there was an escrow shortage of $2600.00 and my mortgage payment would increase to $1600.00 as of -/-/-. This is going to cause serious financial hardship for me and my family and I did not receive any previous notice of this change. I was not given any reason ( s ) as what caused the difference between the actual escrow amount and the projected escrow amount. I was not given sufficient notice for the increased escrow amount from US Bank either. I have never been late on a mortgage payment and I would appreciate it if someone would investigate this problem and let me know what options I have to resolve it.
