Got a call on a credit card account that was delinquent and had been turned over to Capital Services debt management to collect the outstanding balance of ~ $2500.00. I did not recall having an account with the credit card company, -. I then called - and they confirmed that I DID NOT have an account with them. I then called Capital back, but they would not discuss anything with me unless I gave them my SSN. I was not about to give then any information, so we hung up. I looked the company on the Internet and saw/read many complaints. Sounds like these folks are scammers and I wanted to report them to someone official.
