Account # - $990.00 Account # - $330.00 Spoke with this creditor -/-/-, I was instructed that if I paid everything off in full that it would be deleted from my credit report and I would be issued a letter stating items were to be deleted. I asked if I could have a letter faxed to me stating this. They said yes and took my fax number down. I called back on -/-/- and made the payment in full for $1300.00. The agent I spoke with that day told me that she could not fax me the deletion letter. I informed her that was not the agreement I had made on -/-/-. She went on to say there was nothing that she could do to help me. I asked ot speak with a supervisor, I spoke with - who was extremely rude. She kept screaming and cutting me off. I asked - if she would listen to the recording from my last call and give me a call back. She refused to do this. I told her that they should honor the verbal commitment they made with me on -/-/-. She continued to uphold the promise that was made
When I first reached out on -/-/- about having this issue cleared, I let them know that I was in the process of purchasing a home and this is hold up everything. My lender needs these items to be removed, before issuing my approval to purchase. My family is living in a hotel, waiting for these - items with - to be deleted. At this point, I do not know what else to do as I was lied to and mislead by United Revenue Corp. I have asked them on numerous occasions to listen to the recorded phone calls, they told me even if the represented told me that she could fax me a deletion letter they would not. At this point it is my assumption, that they blatantly lied to me in order for me to make my payment in full. They had no intentions on deleting these items, even though they stated that they would be on a recorded line. I wanted to try reaching out via CFPB before getting legal counsel and filing a lawsuit. - has violated my rights under the FCRA.
