Dear ChexSystems ' General Counsel, After receiving a number of unsolicited phone calls and emails from people claiming to be from ChexSystems ' I feel obligated to exercise my rights and alert you to what I consider harassing and damaging behavior. Specifically, I have received numerous phone calls from people claiming they were from ChexSystems but generally refused to provide any information unless I confirmed my identity. Wary of this potential scam / phishing attempt after previously being a victim of identity theft I am unsure if this is an official action of ChexSystems or a scammer spoofing information. To this end I request that ChexSystems investigate such actions to determine if it is your employees or systems making these unsolicited calls and to provide me with a record of all correspondence on my ChexSystems file, if any. To confirm my identity, you can use my social security number as provided to you in this CFPB complaint as well as a picture of my passport. I have not been within the USA for many years and have not agreed to the use of ChexSystems to aggregate my personal
