I obtained my credit report and discovered multiple errors. I send a letter to TransUnion stating I was disputing a Bankruptcy on my record. The first letter that I sent was on -/-/2017 and it was signed for on -/-/2017. I received a letter back stating they had " verified '' this using a third party ( - ). I sent a second letter on -/-/2017 and it was signed for a few days later, stating that I was requesting the information that they used to " verify '' the bankruptcy. Again, I received a letter saying they verified this information using -, but did not provide any documentation to me as verification. I mailed my third letter on -/-/2017 and was yet again met with the same response. I called Transunion and asked to speak to a supervisor to dispute the matter. Again, I was told that the information was verified and I was denied any proof when I requested to have it sent to me. My inquiry to the U. S. Bankruptcy Courts confirmed Transunion Credit Bureau has never validated or verified these public record entries on my credit report. They further stated while they are NOT liable


currently showing under my social security number to be PERMANENTLY DELETED from my credit report immediately. The Credit Bureau needs to provide me with copies of all documentation associated with these Public Record Accounts bearing either a court order to place this information in my credit report, or my authorization of release bearing my signature. In the meantime, to be in full compliance with the FCRA laws and guidelines, all the information listed under " Public Records '' needs to be immediately deleted from the credit file you maintain under my name and social security number. Be further advised that I am closely monitoring my credit file. Per the Federal Law, you have exactly 30 days to complete this investigation as outlined per the Fair Credit Reporting Act 623 ( a ) ( 3 ). Per the Federal Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ), you are required by federal law to verify - through physical verification of the original signed consumer contract and/or judgment ( s ) - all accounts and public information that you post on anyone 's credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail, email in fraudulent and erroneous account information. I have given Transunion multiple attempts to follow the laws and even called them so I could discuss this with an actual person. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
