Bank of America Credit card department,
APR or interest rate Washington
I have a Bank of America credit card. Last -/-/- I took advantage of 0 % APR balance transfer offer that they had that offered a balance transfer at 0 % APR until -/-/2018 for a one-time transfer fee. I have transferred balances to this credit card earlier without any issues so I was not expecting any problems this time. However, when I happened to check my credit card balance this month, I noticed that I was being charged a 1.99 % APR. I have tried calling Bank of America several times and even spoke to one of their supervisors but could not get anyone to help with fixing this. The Customer Service manager transferred me to Sales and Sales says that they only deal with new credit card applications, not existing cards. I have spent over two hours on the phone with different people at Bank of America and no seems to know how to fix their error and get me my promised 0 % APR offer. I took advantage of this offer online but checking back, I do not see any email confirmation from them. I do n't have any documentation to prove my claim but since it was done online, there should be a record of this transaction with Bank of America. Their -/-/- statement onwards shows the wrong offer ( 1.99 % APR instead of 0 % APR ) on the statement.
