Improper use of my credit report report improperly shared by crc
TransUnion Intermediate Holdings, Inc. Credit reporting department,
Improper use of my credit report Report improperly shared by CRC California
I have a creditor who pulled my credit report without my permission. TransUnion wants me to approach the creditor and get permission to remove the hard inquiry. TransUnion is also asking for a personal statement to remove the hard inquiry ( I am OK with this request ). There is no process to remove fraudulent hard inquiry on credit report on their website or by phone call. Spoke with customer service and supervisor at TransUnion. TransUnion will not provide evidence that the creditor pulled my credit report legitimately or had permission. This is double standard. TransUnion is asking me to do the legwork of contacting creditor and getting a letter but they will not do the investigation themselves nor provide evidence that the creditor pulled my credit report legitimately. This inquiry only shows with TransUnion. No other credit bureau shows this information. I need help with removing the hard inquiry on my credit report with TransUnion. I do not feel that I should have to contact creditor, get a letter, do the investigation and waste my time when the issue was created by the creditor/TransUnion. Thanking You
