My US BANK PLATINUM VISA CARD FALSELY REPORTED TO ALL CREDIT AGENCIES that I made a late payment when in fact I had paid off the credit card for years! It is totally astonishing that US BANK PLATINUM VISA CARD company made such a huge error that has such a negative effect on my life. After years of building a perfect credit history, and paying off all my credit cards, I applied for a home loan only to find that I have a " LATE PAYMENT '' reported by your company ( Sometime around -/-/2016 ). I found that very alarming because I had just paid off my US BANK PLATINUM VISA CARD and my balance was at $0.00. After I paid off the US BANK 'VISA I was shockingly charged a $2.00 'interest charge fee ' ( on a balance of $0.00 ) then a 'LATE PAYMENT FEE ' for $54.00?! Worst yet, I did n't find out until MONTHS later, after the company submitted a damaging report to credit agencies FALSLY reporting that I had missed a payment! These charges were quickly reversed. However, my credit score is STILL DAMAGED : I was refused a home loan because of US BANK PLATINUM VISA CARD 's FALSE CLAIM! How can such a massive heartless blunder still occur? What measures has VISA company taken to prevent this from happening to another innocent person in the future?! My request : send a letter of correction to retract your previous false report to all credit agencies with the same expediency and vigor which they erroneously charged my inactive account interest fees, then late payment fees and then falsely reported against my credit ... They did nothing.
