Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Florida
This in regards to the problems I 'm having with TransUnion & their failure/unwillingness to remove ALL/multiple items pertaining to - ( - ) after my state of residency, Florida, has clearly noted these loans are ILLEGAL, COMPANY NOT LICENSED IN FLORIDA AND AS SUCH, LOANS ARE ALSO UNENFORCEABLE AND HENCE UNCOLLECTABLE. Mid -/-/-, I started with my letters and phone conversations with TransUnion supervisors/managers. Originally, ( -/-/- ), I provided the letter from the Florida Office of Financial Regulation dated -/-/- noting that - is an ILLEGAL payday lender as they are unlicensed in Florida ( and actually all US STATES ). They include copies of the Florida statute noting as they are illegal and unlicensed the loan is unenforceable and uncollectable. As such, I asked for all the - accounts to be removed as illegal, unenforeable and uncollectable items should not be listed. They did nothing and returned a credit report to me that still listed all the accounts.
my ( and actually all US ) states, they should not be showing on my credit report. I received an email from - of the Florida office of Financial Regulation on -/-/- and she advised that TransUnion can use the already supplied letters to me from the Florida OFR and also can visit - to verify the license status. She also recommended I file a complaint with you, CFPB, re : the difficulties and issues I am experiencing with TransUnion and their failure to remove illegal, unlicensed companies/loans from my report. She again refers to and encloses the Florida OFR Press release discuss unlicensed payday lenders ( it notes that if a company is not licensed to make loans in Florida, these loans are illegal!!!! ) Hence, again, as - is unlicensed ( see enclosures ) in Florida, all of these loans are illegal. So I am questioning why does TransUnion refuse to remove all of these ILLEGAL LOANS/ENTRIES on my credit report. After I did a repeat dispute on -/-/- with TransUnion noting : that if a company is not licensed to make loans in Florida, these loans are illegal. ( see attached ) " As they are illegal, unenforceable and uncollectable in my state, they SHOULD NOT be showing on my credit report. It is noted too that - does not show on - or -! After they again did nothing ( i.e. did not remove all of the - entries ), I called again on -/-/-. I was advised that management was not going to do nothing as they pay to belong to/report to (? ) TransUnion & if TransUnion is OK with them reporting ( as they are a paying customer ), they can continue to report. TransUnion can only tell them my dispute, but it is up to - should they choose to remove all entries which they do not. As this company is reporting multiple entries of - that the state of Florida ( and others ) have noted are of a company that is unlicensed and hence, illegal in Florida. I have great concern re : TransUnion refusal to remove all of these 'illegal ' entries, so I am coming to you to have all of the ILLEGAL - entries removed per Florida law/statute!
