Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I am fuming over this. I had a Dillards American Express for years from back when I worked there, they paid us on it. Anyway, unfortunately I kept a balance on it until -/-/- when they closed my account over late payments. I paid it off after that and did n't worry about it, until I went to my credit report and saw they marked me as - late payments and closed my account, hitting my credit score hard. I then went back though some of my statements in -/-/-, and I saw they charged me : Mind you, my payment was due on the seventh of each month -/-/2016, $25.00 late fee, when I paid on - -/-/2016, $35.00 late fee, paid -/-/- -/-/2016, $35.00 late fee, paid -/-/- I called them after I researched it and they said in 7-10 business days I 'd have a check for the $95.00 total. I waited, nothing. I called last week, they said 1-2 more days, I waited, I called tonight ( I work - ) and they said it was just getting to research since they 'could n't see the fees ' and that I should call them in a week. I contacted my credit agency and filed a change for the late fees, and it was resolved.
