Synchrony Financial Credit Card Complaint

Closing/Cancelling account

Synchrony Financial Credit card department,

Closing/Cancelling account Massachusetts

Back in -/-/- I have a returned credit card payment on my old navy store card through synchrony bank. I corrected the issue a few days later. Moving forward I made all of my payments on time every month. In -/-/- I got another returned payment notification and again I quickly corrected the issue. My card has always been set up on auto pay but on this day in -/-/- synchrony bank attempted to collect the scheduled payment around - est and my direct deposit did not enter my account until after - that day. Although I made the payment once I was notified that the payment was returned my account with synchrony bank was closed. I spoke to a rep and - managers and was told that there was nothing that they could do to help me. I do n't feel that this bank is for the people, I feel cheated. Ive been working very hard on my credit and to have a closed account on my credit report is just down right wrong. The rep and both managers totally understood where I was coming from and even stated that I 've made all payments on time. They were very apologetic but could not do anything to reopen the account. My current balance on the card is $57.00 not even close to my $300.00 limit. Is there anything that I can do to get this card reopened? I am planning to purchase a home this year and I really do not want this on my credit report.
