During the second week of - - I was contacted by an employee of Wells Fargo bank of North Carolina ( - - ), she informed me that she was calling to get payment on a bank issued business credit card. The transaction supposedly took place in late -. At that time I changed the corporate mission of my business and informed all contacts necessary of my new mailing address. Since that time I have not received any communications from Wells Fargo until last week when they demanded payment. At that time I made - - aware that if I could be made sure of the original amount of the transaction that I would be willing to pay that amount but no more. Since I still do business with this bank I feel strongly that they should have been able to contact me much sooner and avoided all the additional charges. In addition all of my accounts with this bank appear on my on line page except for this credit card.
