Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Forbearance / Workout plans Ohio
I have a credit card, Care Credit with Synchrony Bank that I have had since - - that I have been paying on monthly since. I received an online statement that I have gone over my $2000.00 credit limit and owe a minimum payment of $170.00. After contacting the customer service department for the Card on -/-/-. I was informed by the agent, that the reason my monthly payment is so high due to a missed payment and due to the promotional fees. The agent stated that I have made over $800.00 in payments just in the past year from what her system can only go back 1 year, and accumulated over $310.00 in just the past 2 months in Promotional fees, and $120.00 in penalties. After explaining why I missed a payment was due to no employment, I asked if they offerred some assistants, the only assistants she offered was to take away - penalty charge. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. After being transferred to a supervisor the gentlemen stated that there was no other assistant 's that can be offered until I have a income. I asked him if they are willing to work out
be able to pay a settlement. So I was able to gain a backer to support the money needed for a settlement. I contact Synchrony Settlement Department and asked to speak to a Supervisor, after on hold fro 10 minutes, I spoke with a gentlemen and explained the situation, and that I 'm calling back for a settlement. The guy continued to ask me questions that were irrelevant, which I answered anyway. After answering the questions, he stated that they where unable to give a settlement and the supervisor that I talked to -/-/- was not allowed to inform me of settlements that they provide and was not going to offer a settlement. I expressed my concern on how dishonest, corrupt and wrong for their company to treat people and mislead them with false statements. Then hung up the phone.
