The dealership sent - bad checks to - - - and failed to pay off the vehicle so they basically stole my - -. - sent the title to - after receiving the second check without confirming that the check cleared. In - - - - sold my - that was not paid off as promised in the retail contract to Automotive Credit Corp. - is currently out of business and - - demanding payment in full in the amount of $13000.00. I called the finance company to explain what happened and was told that I was not their customer and that there is nothing they can do. So basically they were informed that they are financing a car that was not paid off by the dealership whom they bought the car from and are failing to release the lien and return the vehicle to me so I can pay the initial lienholder which is - - -.
