In -/-/-, I submit a complaint [ - number : - ] about Wells Fargo Unfair banking practices that included no notification regarding issues about banking practices after being a - year customer. I received a response thru your bureau on Tue, -/-/-. They admitted their was a misunderstanding that old practices have changed regarding accepting checks made out to " Pay to the order of '' made out on back of Government checks. I was never notified until they closed my account, took my money, was blacklisted for every bank in my area and I received threatening phone calls from - of their representatives. Now it 's -/-/-, I get a bill in the form of a -/-/- - for the suppose debt related to this misunderstanding, whereby, I never received any money but I did lose money. This claim is incorrect since I did not received any income related to this discharge of debt related to their error. They may have but I did not. I hope your bureau can make Wells Fargo understand that if early notification related to these transactions had been made, I could have corrected the behavior & requested a personal check rather than on the back. I guess as punishment for their mistake, I must pay more in taxes for something I did not get appears fair to Wells Fargo.
