I was a previous member of Costco while the primary card was still - -. I cancelled my Costco membership in - 2016 and constantly checked my - - account to make sure that there was no remaining balance. I was unaware that my balance would be switched over to CitiBank and now I have accrued multiple late fees and interest which has also had a detrimental affect on my credit. I have never missed a single payment to Costco nor - or any other credit card prior to this incident. If I was aware of the switch over of my balance to CitiBank I would have paid it off. I will gladly pay off the original amount I owe, but it is unacceptable to not be able to remove the accrued interest and fees. The CitiBank representative that I spoke to was -, ID : -. I am not okay with the service that was provided and I expect Costco and CitiBank to resolve this issue.
