On Friday - - 2017 I reached out to Pro Collect debt collection agency to pay off a - debt that was showing on my account. Prior to this I was applying for an apartment however upon submitting the application I was instantly denied due to have - broken leases. When I first reached out to Pro Collect they informed me that I had - accounts in collections one for the - which was $1000.00 and one for the - for $500.00. So when I contacted Pro Collect on - - 2017 I clearly informed the representative that I was only going to pay the $500.00 plus $7.00 fee to process the order so that account would show as paid. She asssured me several times that once I paid the amount of $500.00 that the account for the - would be removed and I would receive a confirmation email within 72 hours. I paid the amount and was even given a confirmation number. By Tuesday - - 2017 I had not received any sort of email confirmation. So I once again called back to Pro Collect and the next representative informed me that my account was not showing as - separate accounts and that the amount had to be paid in full for me to receive any confirmation email that my account was paid in full. Even though I did pay $500.00 the - account is still showing in collections and in order for me to have it removed I would have to pay the $1000.00 in order for the - account to be removed
