Citibank Credit card department,
Closing date on my credit card is -/-/-. I made an online payment on -/-/- that was successful. However, I late found out the payment was applied as a float and my credit balance was n't adjusted. This led to a situation where I exceeded my credit limit because it was never adjusted after my payment. My credit limit is still not adjusted for my payment on -/-/-, over a full week later. I was never notified of the float, or the fact that my credit was being withheld. I feel this company took my payment, told me it was successful, but never applied it to my account and updated my credit. Doing this without my knowledge violates my rights as a consumer.
