Wells Fargo & Company Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Taking out the loan or lease California
I agreed to co-sign for the purchase of a - - - for my roommate, and specifically advised the Car Dealership that I did not want my name on the loan document as a primary. Wells Fargo the lender began sending the monthly statement with my name as the primary owner of this vehicle -/-/-. I immediately called Wells Fargo to complain about this problem and reported this problem to the Federal Trade Commission. Wells Fargo then contacted me to inform me that the loan document had me listed as the primary owner. I explained to Wells Fargo that I am not the primary owner, and that they needed to correct this error. This error is a concern to me because it is on my credit reports, and the department of motor vehicle in California has me as the primary owner and when this vehicle has received parking tickets my name appears on the citation. I would like the CFPB to assist me in correcting this problem, Wells Fargo has the ability to fix this problem by either correcting the current loan document or refinancing the vehicle with the correct primary owner ( - - ) and deleting my name from the loan document or placing me as a Co-Signer. This loan *- has been paid on time and this should allow this financial institution to not have any issues considering - - ( Primary Owner ) has paid on time.
