Citibank Credit card department,
I have had a Citibank credit card since - 2016. In - 2016 my card had fraudulent activity and I was sent a new card. Citibank removed my credit card and all my positive credit payment/balance history from my credit report with all - credit bureaus. I disputed it with Citibank and all - bureaus immediately. I spoke with several - at Citibank as well as all credit bureaus. Citibank told me countless times they had submitted the info to the bureaus and I needed to wait 30 days for them to update. I call the bureaus after that 30 days and they state they 've never received anything from Citibank. I have charged and paid on this card religiously since I opened the account. I have gotten no help from Citibank in adding this account back to my credit profile. I am at their mercy as the bureaus ca n't initiate 'adding ' or 'reinserting ' an account, it must come from the lender/bank directly. I am in the process of buying a home and this has dropped my score by - points making me unable to get approved for the home loan. I will be seeking punitive damages once I get this situation rectified.
