On - - my daughter transferred money to my paypal account. On the - I called paypal since I could n't get any response from my requests online. I was told that the money had gone to my bank and should be in my account. I contacted my bank -, they informed me that the money had not been received in my account and they did n't know where it was. I contacted paypal and the issue a trace to locate the funds. On the - of - I was told by - a paypal Customer Rep. She informed me that the money was put in an account number that was not mine, it was one number off. This was and is confusing to be as I did not verify this account number and in the mean time I had made a purchase and the fund had been taken from my correct account number. During this time I spoke to - on -, - on -, - again on -, - on -, on - I spoke to - -, - I spoke to -, On - I spoke to both - and -, I spoke to - on -, and on - I received a message from paypal to let me know that the funds could not be returned to be me as the bank denied the reversal. I have been speaking to - and - at the local branch of the bank all along and when I called to check on the denial - let me know that there are several reason that the transaction could be denied but she was unable to tell me anything about this because of privacy. I am at my wits end and do n't know what to do at this point. If I did n't verify the account that the money was sent to why do n't have I my money back. Please Help
