- - Barclays Declined Dispute / negatively affecting credit score. Intially, I was charged $120.00 for consulation, we were very hesitant because there was no real sign of them being licensed, no medical staff were present & provided no business cards at all. My appointment originally was with a female doctor but she apparently was n't around & another male doctor was available. My husband asked for proof of credentials or certification & was he a board certified plastic surgeon, he would not present anything. After all this, we were n't comfortable going ahead, could not trust this company and walked out. My husband told the receiptionist, -, that we do n't want to go ahead with the procedures and would like our account credited for amount they took in advance. She told us the - - accouting office is closed, she will call the office on Monday & so did we, to get the full refund returned. My husband spoke with - - from their accounting department in - about the refund & - emailed in writing a confirmation that the refund process has been intiated on -/-/2010. Nothing was refunded to my original credit card for the $4000.00. We called again but were told - - was no longer with the company. I contacted my credit card provider, Barclays, about what happened & numerous disputes against this charge and -. Barclays were very unhelpful and refused to accept my genuine, legitimate request.
