I disputed a transaction and provided complete back-up, and the Money Network Institution overturned it with no proof, other than the word of the merchant. I sent in all the information I had to prove it should be granted. They also refused to provide me with a copy of what the merchant provided to them to determine their decision. This made my account overdrawn, and they are unwilling to do anything about it. I made a flight+car reservation with - on -/-/2016, according to the cancellation terms, I could cancel within two days of departure. I cancelled on -/-/2016, completely within the time frame, the merchant rep I spoke advised me there would be no penalty, but they would credit my card so I called Money Network to dispute my transaction, they said that the merchant provided them proof it was a non-refundable flight. I sent them copy of my reservation that did not show in any way it was non-refundable, I am including a copy, - issued a credit for travel, which I do n't understand since it is " non-refundable ''. I formally asked for the copy of what they provided and was refused. They illegally withdrew the funds based on false information provided by the merchant, and will do nothing to resolve it. My account is now overdrawn by $260.00, minus the few deposits made to the account the new balance as of today is $ -. I would like to make a formal complaint for the lack of due diligence and misrepresentation that a complete and thorough investigation would be made.I disputed the transaction the same day I cancelled on -/-/2016. There was no lapse in time from when I cancelled the reservation to when I disputed the charge. Clearly they do not care about the customers or the security of their hard earned money.
