I have applied for a HAMP loan modification that I clearly qualify for based on this criteria. 1. Primary Residence, 2. I currently have an interest rate over 2 %, 3. DTI over % -, 4. Underwater on Mortgage, 5. Hardship due to medical issues from an auto accident. Suntrust is dragging the process out by telling us we need something different every week or so and they are not returning messages even though they say they will within 24 hours. So now we are not paying our mortgage and they are forcing us into foreclosure which they will try to use against us later.
