Incorrect information on credit report Reinserted previously deleted info Maryland

Worked with attorney and debt collector to resolve an erroneous debt collection action resulting from cancellation of a cell phone contract in - pursuant to the Servicemember 's Civil Relief Act/the terms of the contract. The debt collector verified that the debt was erroneous and notified my attorney of the same. The debt disappeared from all - of my credit card reports but has since reappeared. The process of disputing the erroneous information on each individual credit report ( -, Equifax and, - ) is unduly onerous and time consuming. I would like the CFPB 's help with cleaning up my credit report permanently. Further, I believe other - may be similarly situated and the CFPB should track this company for other complaints.
