I have a credit freeze with the bureaus due to extensive identity theft. I have no difficulty lifting my freeze with - or -, but no one is able to pull a lifted report from Equifax. I will receive written documentation and verbal confirmation from Equifax indicating the lift is in place, however anyone who attempts to pull credit receives the following message : " bureau error, no data to display '' with a numerical value of " - ''. The companies attempting to pull credit have indicated the message regarding frozen credit should appear when frozen, and the numerical score should appear when the freeze has been lifted. None have confirmed receiving this message when an individual has a freeze in place. This message was received from Equifax, both when the credit was frozen, and the lift was in place. When I questioned this, Equifax indicated this is a normal message due to the freeze and should not appear when the lift is in place. When they are questioned why the message continues to appear when the lift is in place, each Equifax representative provides the same answer, " they ( company attempting to pull credit ) do n't know how to pull credit ''.
