Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I knew I would not have enough money to pay off my credit card and my monthly rent, so I made a payment to my Wells Fargo credit card for nearly 4 times the minimum due payment. This payment was from my Wells Fargo checking account. The very next day Wells Fargo decided to auto-draft a payment of $1000.00 from my checking account. I cancelled the auto-draft a month earlier, specifically because they kept on taking huge chunks of money from my checking account. The auto-draft came out of my checking account, which only had - dollars in it, so they then charged me a $35.00 fee. So now I 've got a - plus - dollar debt on my checking account. Then had the nerve to tell me that they did me a favor by completing the auto-draft transaction - which is why I was charged the $35.00 dollar overdraft. Otherwise, the payment ( that I did not want or authorize ) would have bounced! Which is insane, because there was no payment due. I called the bank and explained the situation and they told me it could take up to two billing cycles ( up to 60 days
out a personal loan, taking a cash advance from my credit card, TO COVER WHAT THEY STOLE FROM ME. At that point I walked out, red, and infuriated. I ca n't believe that this bank would steal my money, hold it hostage, charge me fees, then offer me a loan to cover what they took from me. I can not pay my rent. This is shameful and disgraceful. Once I am made whole, I will have to find another financial institution. It is my hope that someone out there actually respects the fact that these numbers they play with on a daily basis, are attached to real people, with real obligations.
