PayPal Holdings, Inc. Credit card department,
I am being billed by a company called Paypal Credit for a charge on a deferred purchase BUT I never requested the different payment account. I pay all my credit card bills for purchases in full. I received statements saying I had a zero balance and so, just filed them away. Then I started to receive bills indicating I had late fees and interest due on a paypal account. I called the customer service number and a person said they would reverse the fees and account needed a payment to close the account for a purchase. I authorized the payment to pay for the purchase and they said my account would be closed. The account was not closed. And I received another bill for additional $35.00 late fee. I figured the payment crossed in the mail/processing of the prior payment. I ignored that bill. Then received another bill for $35.00 I called customer service again. They said the account fees would be taken care of. Now I keep getting bills for late fees of $35.00 on ZERO purhcases. I tired again to find out what might be a legitamate charge and was advised that $38.00 would resolve the past purchases. I authorize that amount and was assured by CS Rep that all would be reversed by her supervisor and account closed. That was 10 days ago and thus far, the account is still opened and now the fees are up to $180.00 with no evidence that my payments have ever been credited. This company is apparently a SCAM.
