I applied for a short-term loan on -/-/16 and at the time of the loan I did not notice that the annual percentage rate is 607.3385 % and my total finance charge would equal $3800.00. My loan amount was only for a total of $750.00. I have had a total of - payments of $180.00 come out of my checking account. My payments are also made on a bi-weekly basis. I also found out that my $750.00 loan will come out to be a total of $4500.00. After doing a bit of research, I found out that the annual percentage rate on this loan is much higher than the allowed annual percentage rate allowed to be charged to an individual. I was not aware of this until I began to do further research on this particular loan. I began to research this loan after I was attempting to get onto the Big Picture Loans website to see what I could do about making a late payment on my loan. My loan shows that it is through Big Picture Loan, LLC but is licensed through - - - - - -, an independent regulatory body of the - - - - - - - - -, and is operating pursuant to Tribal Law. I was not aware of the stipulations that are set forth for loan companies until now and I feel that this loan company has taken advantage of my needs by exposing me to an annual percentage rate that is astronomically over the allowed amount.
