I recently pulled my credit on -/-/2016 and found a debt with CMRE for $180.00 I do not know what this is for and have sent - letters - which where certified asking for validation evidence bearing my signature showing I had any contractual obligation tide to such debt. I tried finding CMRE only to find that they are not licensed in the state of Florida to collect for any debts in this state. They failed to abide by FDCPA 807 ( 8 ) they had 30 days to contact the credit bureau and dispute they waited 60 days it was deleted than just added back on. They have now violated federal law by not properly investigating within the proper time frame and I have evidence of this via certified mail receipts. I am considering small claims court but I thought I would do this first since the debt will expire on -/-/2016 anyway. However should they not take immediate action and delete with the credit bureau. I will sue for - for 1 ) defamation 2 ) Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud 3 ) Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting act. FCRA 623 ( a ) ( C ) $1000.00 per occurrence This is effecting my credit negatively and has been humiliating and emmbarasing. The state will fine them as well. It would be foolish to ignore me I have kept excellent records with all communication for the purpose of filing with the FTC and - office regarding all non-compliance of Federal laws.
