Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I was issued a refund on a travel purchase that was credited to my Sam 's Club - - issued by Synchrony Bank. The refund, $4100.00, was transferred to my account, # - - - -, on - - 2016. In a call to Synchrony Bank today, they said they could only send me a refund by check and that would take up to a month, corresponding to my next billing cycle. So Synchrony has a plan to hold my cash for another month before returning it to me. Yet when I pay my account at Sam 's Club or at Wal-Mart by check, they immediately electronically draft the payment out of my bank account. But they claim they have no way to electronically return my cash to my bank account except by check sent by USPS mail. Synchrony Bank has very effectively stacked the procedure to take advantage of their customers and that indeed is wrong. - -, - - - -, -, TN -
