Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I lost my job due to career change. I had to take a job in -, Texas. My primary residence is in -, Texas. I discovered Lowes Home Improvement was charging me an excessive 24.99 % APR and called them to ask for help since I was having financial difficulty managing - separate households. They connected me with Synchrony Bank hardship department. The understanding I had with them on the phone was they could help me with a lower interest rate, BUT, I needed to close my account first. So reluctantly, I closed the account. However, its now been over a month since I did what they asked and I have yet to see a lower rate? All I 'm asking for is a little help. I do n't feel like $150.00 a month in interest is fair. Especially towards someone that 's been a valued customer for over 15 years. I just ca n't see the logic in paying that much interest on an account that 's since been closed. Please help me.
