Wells Fargo Bank NA refused to allow the consolidation of a Home Equity Line of Credit ( HELOC ) obtained at the time of original home purchase. When - approved our first home mortgage hardship modification, Wells Fargo also refused to consolidate our HELOC with the first home mortgage when they forced us to modify the loan later on.
