I froze my Transunion credit in 2014. Today I discovered that Transunion charged my credit card $19.00. When I called to find out why they said " do you remember opening an account and requesting a credit report in the last seven days? '' I said " no ''. They said " well someone opened an account with your SSN and requested a credit report ''. I said " how is this possible, my credit is frozen? Please verify that my credit is frozen! '' They responded that " yes your credit is frozen ''. At this point my brain is exploding. I ca n't even believe the conversation is real.
