Wells Fargo & Company Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease California
I applied for a personal loan at Wells Fargo. I have had an account with them for several years now and I 've never taken out any type of loan with them in the past. I got denied because I have bad credit which is understandable. My banker then recommended me getting a co-signer to reapply. I went and got my sister to help me out noting she has excellent credit. When we went back and reapplied, the banker notified us we had been denied again, acknowledging the good credit my sister has but the reason we got denied was because my sister " was not associated with the bank '' meaning she does n't have an account there. Even the banker herself thought that was a " ridiculous '' reason. I think that is unfair and misleading. Why they even told me to get a co-signer in the first place if I was going to get denied regardless. I felt betrayed by the bank I 've been loyal to for years. I do not want to change banks but I 'm losing faith in this bank. Hopefully this issue can be resolved.
