Credit card Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt Texas

I rec 'd a phone call from a - - at - - who said she was calling from - - - and that she was an attorney and that this was an attorney 's office. They have called my husband at work numerous times even though they have been asked not to as it will jeapordize his job. When I googled this company it said it was a debt collector and that they had been shut down once. This is for a debt from 2008 that just keeps getting sold.
