Incorrect information on credit report Reinserted previously deleted info Florida
As per my Equifax confirmation number Confirmation # : -, I had - negative account. - inquiries and no public records. Today I look at my report and there are - negative items, - inquiries and - public record. This information was previously no present on my report. I went down to the courthouse and spoke to the clerk personally. I verified with her and she agreed that the - accounts listed were not included in my bankruptcy. I asked how was that possible since you report this information to the bureaus. She stated that they do not report any information to the credit bureaus. So how is that Equifax was able to gain access to my inaccessible information? According to the FCRA, the credit bureaus must verify personally with the creditor. The clerk of the court in this instance would be the creditor. I would love to know with whom you spoke to, their title and date you called. I think you should be able to provide this information forthwith as performing a verification is what you do. Since the information may have been obtained by other means and not directly with the court and as I am an intelligent woman, I respectfully request that you remove the bankruptcy from my file as well as the instant inquiries and negative items which are reported inaccurately. I believe that if I were to take this matter to my attorney that he would concur with me and suggest a lawsuit against your company we would win without a hitch.
