Someone sent me $1900.00 via the app Venmo on -/-/-. Venmo requested additional documentation from both of us. I submitted mine immediately and they requested it again. I resubmitted it. They sent a message stating that if they did not receive both of our documents that they would cancel the transaction and refund her money to her. The sender is - and had difficulty sending in ALL things, so I asked them to cancel out the transaction and return her money to her. They would not. It has now been almost 3 weeks and they still will not return her money to her. She has since submitted all documents and they state the license is blurry ( i looked at her email, it was not blurry at all ). They are refusing to cancel the transaction and give her back HER money. They should NEVER have drafted the funds in the first place if the account setup was not complete, instead of taking her money and not allowing either of us to have it. Now they are holding it hostage and this is unacceptable.
