- University signed me up for classes without my knowledge. I was under the impression that I was waiting on a student loan to be approved. I had told them this. When the loan finally went through, I emailed them to register for classes. They never responded. They sent me to collections for tuition never paid for the classes they registered me for without my knowledge. I told the collections company that I had never registered and provided them with my correspondence that was never addressed. They acknowledged the error and told me they 'd tell the original creditor. I thought it was resolved. Today, three months after talking to them and providing proof the debt was not legitimate, I found out they have been reporting this to the credit bureaus.
