Non-federal student loan Communication tactics Threatened to take legal action Washington

this is a multi area complaint. at first several years ago. Sullivan and Terranova, Lawyers, ( - - - -, - OR -, - ) contacted me about a student loan that had not been sent to collections yet due to the fact that I could not pay the amount the loan company wanted me to pay. they said i was going to be sued for the amount due and that i had to either start making payments in the full amount or get sued. I at the time was making $9.00 an hr in a - job and had - other student loans i was paying the minimum on. I just did n't have the money to pay $400.00 a month. I know that they could not legally take more then 10 % of my pay for loans and told them That i would only be able to give $150.00. I paid that amount every month for 4 years never once getting a monthly statement letting me know my balance or my interest paid for tax reasons. I had asked multiple times via phone calls and was told that they will not give me monthly statements and that if i did n't keep paying that i would be sued. in - on - i I was given money from a family member to pay them off and i offered them $15000.00 to settle the account. they accepted given that i paid with in 2 weeks. i meet their criteria. they stated that i would get a confirmation within 30 days. its now -/-/- and I 'm still fighting for them to give me a confirmation of my settlement being paid in full. it still reflects on my credit as not being paid off. despite repeated request i have still not been given any details of who they are representing or the ability to ask that company for my payoff letter with loan account number on it. my credit still shows that i owe the money even though they accepted my settlement and payment.
