Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Care Credit, also known as Synchrony Bank, will not allow me to pay my accounts online due to requiring an updated phone number. In this field, it states a phone number is required. It also has a disclaimer, that you can not opt out of, stating the consumer grants permission to Synchrony/Care Credit to call cell phones. I spoke with customer service and they would not give me a way around this prompt so I could pay my bills online.
