Synchrony Financial Credit Card Complaint

Other

Synchrony Financial Credit card department,

Georgia

My wife had added me as an " authorized user '' on - department store credit cards. Unfortunately, she lost her job and subsequently had to file bankruptcy. The department store 's credit card company started hounding me to make the payments. I explained to them that I was not the account holder but just an authorized user. They continued to hound me so I asked for proof where I had signed an agreement to pay the credit card bills. Of course, their reply was that there was no proof where I had signed such an agreement. I then asked them to stop writing or calling me but they continue to do so. What can I do to stop this harassment? They have also reported this to the credit bureau which has ruined my credit.
