Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low
Wells Fargo checking account, currently residing outside the US The bank has rejected the same transaction 4 times in the same week for the lack of sufficient funds, and each time billed me - $ overdraft fees! they did this with every transaction. How is it an overdraft fee if the transaction was rejected? I understand if they financed the transaction they have the right to take financing fees, but this transaction is rejected, and as a result it kept coming back, with each time them charging me - , the bank has charged me a total of - $ of fees for the same transaction. I called the bank and they refused to waive the fees, how is it an overdraft if the bank did not allow the " draft '' and did not pay, but rather rejected the transaction, and why did the bank charge me each time it rejected it!
