CMI group failed to notify me of a supposed collection account placed on my credit report ( no mail sent to my current address and no phone call ). Furthermore, I disputed this information with -, which failed to remove the collection. I contacted -, which could not tell me anything more than CMI had verified the information, but no valid documents support this claim. I have not received any debt validation, nor did I receive noticed as required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Further, I did not receive any communication from the alleged original creditor, so I can not verify the information reported on my credit report. The information on my credit report reflects that the account was referred to collections -/-/- ; however, the collection appeared on my credit report in -/-/- - 5 years later! - with no notification. The information being reported in a name that does not match one previously given, nor does it match my social security card.
