Over several years of service, Wells Fargo routinely added service fees to the " youth accounts '' of my children, even though these types of accounts are supposed to be free of charge while the youth account holder is under the age of -, according to Wells Fargo advertisements and service agreements. On several occasions, I went to the back to have them reverse the charges. After a period of time, service charges were added to the youth account again and when the charges depleted the account, it was closed by the bank. When I called the service line for restitution, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and told me I needed to deal with the branch office. The branch office then told me I needed to call the service line. Since the account was removed from my online banking profile I can not access the information. I understand now from the news of Wells Fargo banking practices that this was part of a scheme and not an accident on the part of the banking software as they have tried to tell me.
