I had been a loyal customer of - - - for over twenty five years. I switched services ( closed my account with - ) on - -, 2016. Eastern Account Systems, per - - - ( called twice on - -, 2016 ) told me they ( EAS ) received this account ( # - ) in their office on - -, 2016 a mere twenty two days after my account was closed. My account with - - - was not past due nor was it delinquent. My private and personal account information including S.S. #, phone number, D.O.B. and - address were all given to a third party debt collector before the account was delinquent or even past due. The company stands by this policy as answered in - - - complaint " ticket number - ''. I was given an extremely hard time when trying to close my account and was subjected to many different departments all trying to retain my business. I took well over two hours - simply close this account. These collection efforts are another effort to make me pay for my decision to terminate their service.
