This is the - company that has done this. Both were collecting for -. I answered the phone, said that I was myself and the caller asked me for my date of birth. She called me. Her caller ID did n't say Med-1, even if it did that 's no guarantee. I have no idea if Med-1 is legitimate, only that I get statements from them purporting to be collecting for -. I get many collection contacts for -, I have no way of knowing if any are legitimate. It is completely inappropriate for a debt collector to request my personal information and opens the door for multitudes of phishing scams if it is legal. I suspect this is not allowed but I am not sure. It should be illegal for a bona fide debt collector to request any


The caller called at approximately - Central time to my Louisiana number. Date -/-/2016. She called from - saying they were from MED-1 Solutions. Thank you. -
